Fall In Love With Velvet
One soft and romantic trend I'm loving this Fall is velvet. Honestly, rend or not, I-LOVE-VELVET. I've kept a few velvet pieces in my closet like my black velvet slip dress. I love that I can wear it frontwards for a more demure look and can wear it backwards for a sexier look ala the deep v cut.
I'm looking forward to adding more velvet styles to my closet this season. Here are some favorites that are rocking my world.

Stunning selection, love the look of the velvet dress and it must feel divine to wear.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tania. :) It pretty comfy.
DeleteI love velvet too, especially during the festive season because it is such a seasonal fabric. I have burgundy and blue velvet skirts and a lovely velvet playsuit. Your slip is lush x
ReplyDeleteI bet the velvet playsuit is so cute. And I love burgundy and blue velvet. Thank you Ana. :)
DeleteThese are some amazing velvet pieces. Velvet is such a unique material. The slip dress you picked up rocks!
ReplyDeleteThank you Liz. Velvet is a really nice material. I'm hoping to add more to my closet this season. :)
DeleteVelvet just makes everything look so chic and luxurious. I love velvet especially in darker shades such as maroon and ink blue.
ReplyDeleteAhhh, yes. I'm with you on loving the maroons and blue velvet.
DeleteI think I always say how much I love the season that is coming. Everyone is special, and you always feel like it's been way too long. Somehow, this Summer just flew a way, and I am getting ready for school. The best thing is that I could wear more jeans since the temperature is cooling down. By the way, all the dresses look cute and the v cut is something that will never go out of style!
ReplyDeleteHi Borka, Wishing you a great school semester and wonderful Fall. Yes, summer surely did fly by. :)
DeleteVelvet is definitely one of the best fabrics for Fall. It's soft and perfect for the weather. I think these pieces are lovely and they are perfect for a night in the town!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, you're talking my language, an outfit for a night in the town. I'm looking forward to Fall nights in the new city I'm in.
DeleteI don't actually own anything velvet. I'm scared of the maintenance and afraid they'd go out of style (which obviously they haven't haha). These are really nice pieces you have here. Maybe this season I'll see my first velvet outfit!
ReplyDeleteSeeing your first velvet outfit this season sounds lovely. :) Cheers to a great Fall.
DeleteI so much want a slip cami velvet dress. Great selection!
ReplyDeleteVelvet is definitely a staple during the fall/winter seasons. It has this certain warmth to it as well! These are lovely dresses.
ReplyDeleteVelvet does have a nice warmth to it, perfect for those cool Fall nights. Thank you Amanda.
DeleteI love the velvet fashion pieces featured here and will definitely be adding some velvet to my autumn/winter wardrobe
ReplyDeleteSounds like a plan, adding some velvet pieces to your wardrobe.:) I'm looking forward to adding a few more pieces myself.
Deletei know velvets are in this season... for some reason ,,,,i like it more on furnishings than outfits!:)
ReplyDeleteI love it on furnishings too. My grandmother owned a blue velvet antique looking couch when I was young that was just so beautiful. I wish she had kept it. I adore velvet everywhere; clothes, furniture, shoes, yo name it. :)
DeleteVelvet looks and feels so gorgeous! All of those are beautiful pieces but i like most the colour ones as they are like a piece of jewellery in colours of precious stones.
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, I love that too, velvet in colors that are like precious stones. I love those types of colors with silk fabric also.
DeleteThis is the kind of fabric that gives a mysterious look on the cut, no matter whatever syle is (that's what I think). Your slip is rock!
ReplyDeleteThank you Rose. I love your word, mysterious, velvet does have that appeal and allure. :)
DeleteI never wore velvet but I do find it a very elegant material. For some reason, it reminds me of the 50's
ReplyDeleteI agree Joanna, that velvet is an elegant material.
DeleteAmazing choices and I really like the pieces! That black dress is just beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
DeleteI used to wear velvet all the time! I need to get a nice velvet jacket for the fall!
ReplyDeleteHi Kristen, I just recently started wearing velvet and foresee myself being one of those people to wear it all of the time. I think it's so boho chic. :)
DeleteVelvet clothing for me looks sexy and is really great as a fall outfit. Unfortunately, we don't have autumn here in my country. Will try to wear one when I'm abroad. -Me-An Clemente of http://yogoandcream.com
ReplyDeleteI agree velvet looks and feels very nice and sexy. And super cute blog you have. :)
DeleteI absolutely love velvet! It makes me feel so sexy! I have a black velvet split side skirt and whenever I put it on I feel ten times more confident :)
ReplyDeleteBethany, Yes I'm so with you, velvet makes me feel sexy. It's so lush and luxurious. I bet you look great in your velvet skirt and the side split {whistle}. A side split is always such a nice hint of sexy appeal.
